This SOP governs all medical courier operations conducted by LJ COURIER SERVICE across Northern California, including the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento metropolitan region. Procedures are designed to meet hospital, laboratory, blood bank, and transplant‑center compliance and risk‑management requirements.

1. Governance & Compliance Authority

Management maintains authority for compliance enforcement, incident escalation, and corrective action across all Bay Area and Sacramento operations. All personnel are required to adhere to this SOP as a condition of medical transport assignment.

Chain‑of‑custody procedures apply uniformly across all regions, including Sacramento‑based hospital and laboratory routes. Continuous custody, documentation, and delivery confirmation are mandatory.

6. Organ Transport Protocols

Organ and transplant transports are prioritized regardless of origin or destination within Northern California, including Sacramento. Immediate dispatch, direct routing, and transplant coordinator communication are required.
